These are fantastic Sambas! By far my favorites that I've ever had - so much so that I bought them in black also. What's different about them? The leather is INSANELY soft on these and the leather quality is spectacular, to the point that they almost feel like slippers. The softness of the leather leaves them feeling a little unstructured compared to other Sambas, so if you don't like that you won't like these. They are more fashion than functional athletic shoes, but I expected that going in based on the description and reviews. The are comfortable for all day wear, but they are pretty flat, so I don't know if I would want to do miles and miles of walking in them. I really can't say enough good things about these - they immediately became one of my top favorite shoes and I have a lot of them.

I recommend it, it is light and made of high quality leather. Not much in the way of cushioning or high tech. It is probably like the original samba - basic and classic. If you are heavy on your feet and walk long distances it is not for you. It is a beautiful lifestyle shoe not for running or fitness really. A great second pair for trips since it can fit in your carry on and it is super lightweight. I can’t say enough about how much I love it. I have worn adidas classics- superstar, Stan Smiths, campus and gazelle. I don’t follow trends as these shoes never go out of style:)

I bought these after my girlfriend had to sit me down to tell me to stop wearing my big, clunky gore-tex trail running shoes. Naturally, I went on Reddit to find what people were saying is the “best quality shoe”. Someone recommended Sambas. Game on. “best quality samba” and bingo: someone recommended Samba Decons. These shoes look great and feel like walking barefoot. These are amazing to wear. However, given how thin the sole is, I would not recommend walking long distances or standing for more than 2 hours straight in them. This should be expected however as lifestyle shoes like these tend to be like this.

No break in period! The upper is made of soft leather like material which seems durable. Great stylish shoe for casual wear. I normally wear a size 7.5 in women’s and got a 6 men’s for this and it fits perfectly. I would say it’s true to size.

Good quality and fit. I got it for my son, and he likes it. It’s comfortable for him.

I had never owned a pair of Sambas before ordering these. Before making my purchase, I researched all the different models—they all have slightly different fits and materials. When looking into Sambas, I saw that the Decon is the most flexible and arguably the most comfortable for someone who isn't planning to play football (soccer) in them. I decided to purchase these, and I was not disappointed. They're beyond comfortable, and I'm very happy with them. The genuine leather makes them feel like a luxury shoe. Since the Decon is made from leather and designed to be more flexible than the original, it has more give on the sides and runs slightly bigger—even though I ordered my usual size. Thanks to Adidas' easy exchange process, I switched to a half size smaller, and now they fit perfectly. All around a great shoe and very unique compared to the original version.

Great material, can definitely just shove your foot in there for a quick getaway
