Ode to a city, the genesis of it all. UP THERE and adidas celebrate their first collaboration with adidas Melbourne. Designed in tandem with adidas Consortium, the release introduces a new silhouette to the famed City Series franchise. Built from the ground-up to represent Melbourne - UP THERE’s hometown. The shoe features mesh from the Rod Laver tennis shoe, combined with details lifted from a running spike used during the 1956 Melbourne Olympics, uncovered in the adidas archive whilst researching the project. The ambition from UP THERE was to create a City Series shoe for our hometown as granted by our adidas Consortium family. Now we share the story of people and places which inspired it all.
