Super light, with a surprisingly solid outsole. Upper feels like it might be less durable in mountain terrain, but I have yet to test that out. The wide outsole does feel like it offsets some of the responsiveness granted by the lightstrike pro - but for a trail shoe, I appreciate the stability. The fit offers excellent lockdown of the heel, and I appreciate the spacious midfoot - however, for some reason the shoe does slide around in the forefoot and creates a couple of hot spots around the 1st metatarsal head of each foot which causes blisters for me by about 8km. To be determined if I can lace differently to address this. Overall an awesome idea behind almost everything about this shoe - I am hoping I can address the issues of hot spots, because they are amazing to wear on gravel and trail otherwise.

Same As Last Version Not An Update
Cloud White / Core Black / Semi Impact Orange
This is the identical midsole and outsole of the prior version. I can say this with 100% certainty, I have both shoes in my hand, same markings, same foam and everything. This is not an update, it’s just a prettier version of the same shoe. Don’t be fooled.

Runs big, a little long
I can’t properly review the shoe because the sizing was off so I’m exchanging for a different size. I’m a 9.5 and ordered a 9.5. The shoe is wide, which is fine, I had puckering when lacing up. Shoe is kinda long also so I’m exchanging for A 1/2 SIZE DOWN. I have nothing bad to say. Foam felt good when walking in it. The shoe just runs a little long.
