These trainers deserve 4* but they run small so had to return them and it took a month to get a larger size as a replacements (not good service). As for the shoes themselves, they are light and comfort is good. Support is also good, which puts them a step above a lot of the 'fly knit' running shoes and means you can do gym work as well as running. Only downside is the tongue which is large - so large that it has a 1990s look. The shoes are almost 'mid' height as a result.
OK. I guess. Darker than expected in colour. Quite firm and so a little uncomfortable - hopefully that will improve with use. Have a wide foot and so these are tight-ish but expect them to widen with use.
Great versatile gym shoe. I bought these to replace mt Powerlift 2.0 shoes which were a bit narrow and so uncomfortable when doing anything explosive where your foot pushes into the front of the shoe. These have a wide front which makes them much more comfortable. I typically use these for weight training or plyometric style training and the thinner, less cushioned sole is ideal but I'm not sure how they'd fare on a treadmill, for example.
Similar to Nanos, flat foot and very wide toe box. They look amazing and appear to be very durable. The black / red ones are more of a red-orange color with a dark navy blue on the sole. The sole is not entirely all black.
Me and my friend we ordered same pair of trainers, they were despatched on time and were delivered even before delivery date. Trainers are very comfortable and are a perfect fit. I would highly recommend buying these. The price was fantastic on these so I wouldnt mind ordering them for my friends.
Ordered a 10.5 but was really tight so returned with no problems. Ordering an 11 and expect them to be perfect. Looked very very well made of high quality materials. Gutted I have to wait again for the new pair.
It does the job making powerlifting, especially squatting, more comfortable. Having a stable platform is beneficial for almost any weightlifting exercise. Just don't try running in these. The size was a bit too small, since I always wear 42EU but these were just a bit too short in length. You may consider ordering 1/2 size larger than what you normally wear, but take note that these shoes are supposed to be tight.
one of the best shoes for lifting, the only minus point here for me is the toes part, its not really comfortable, kinda narrow there, this make u need to fix your size up to about 1/2. except this trait, the others are perfect. nothing to complain, and ofc its much nicer and better than pwl 2.0. Another one is the actual is nicer than the shoes in online picture. they are good shoes with this price for me.
I was looking for a non-running trainer for my general training at home and at the gym. I liked the look of these. They are comfortable, have a good cushioning and seem well made. For sizing, I am usually a size 9 (UK) in all other trainers but for these I had to return the size 9 and go with a size 10. There is plenty of room in width - I have narrow feet. If you are looking for a comfortable non-running shoe for general training, I would recommend these trainers.
Brilliantly stable, sticky and solid. Squats felt horrific at first as the improved posture meant I activated new muscles! But with a bit of coaching (recommend to speak to someone who has used them beforehand and get some tips), they felt great. More stable and more powerful than ever with better form, explosiveness and form. They aren't the prettiest, but do just as good a job for a beginner/intermediate as a £150+ pair would. Would definitely buy again!
Having big feet it can be hard to find a pair of comfortable shoes. The Essential Star 2.0 Shoes provide exceptional comfort and are great to wear for gym or just walking about! They look very cool too!
An absolute brilliant choice for a lifting shoe. Price is great compared to other choices, they look great and whilst they may not have as much heel height as others the difference is negligible for those of us who are not powerlifters. Seem to narrow at the toe box and with wide feet I had to exchange for a half size larger but process was free and painless
Bought this pair of trainers for both work and leisure wear alike because I can't wear black shoes any longer because of foot size. Black trainers are perfect for my office attire just like the previous pair I bought from Adidas on-line. I can't seem to get size 6 men's from my local store but Adidas always looks after me.
I was hesitant to buy weightlifting shoes online. Never having tried a pair on and relying on pictures only, I had it in my mind that they would be stiff and uncomfortable. Boy, was I wrong. Very comfortable and very stable. My first pair was missing an eyelet, but got them swapped via a return and 2nd purchase. Adidas handled that process very fairly.
