I had already bought a pair of Adidas Boosts about four months ago and I was absolutely blown away by the comfort. I do a lot of walking and these shoes are like walking on a foam mattress. I have many athletic shoes, some of them I bought for their style, but some are not very comfortable. I've been buying Adidas shoes since 1971 and have always found them very comfortable regardless of the style. My first pair of adidas were Gazelles.
Besides the amazing fresh new design , the comfort is amazing. I own some of the Ultra boosts and although the bounce doesn't have Boost , it's really up there in terms of the comfort. And the price tag is even more amazing. All shoes should cost this much lol
What a great running shoe for the price ! This is what the ultra boost should have been. The Alphabounce is a real comfortable shoe with nice rebound. These are a more firm feel compared to any shoe with the Boost material but they have a good feel of their own. The upper seamless material is very comfortable. Not as restrictive as the techfit in the 1st and 2nd gen energy boost and not as tight as the ultra boost. It has just the right amount of secure and firm snug fit with out restricting the movement of your foot and it has a better vent system as well. I have 3 pairs of Alphabounce each in a different color
Absolutely amazing! Too bad I was standing outside a shop and the gutter broke at the top of the shop cause the contents of the gutter to fall on these beautiful white shoes, I got them back to the original white but was very hard to get the mud and dirty water out!
Comfortable and cool training top but having purchased three of these Sequencial shirt s in different colours, all three have developed pulls. It is disappointing that brand new shirts show up worn and tired looking after being worn just once or twice.
These shoes are great and my third pair of ultra boosts. ST version have solved my aches and pains and the cushioning is great for me! But the soles are the major niggle. Was expecting more life from the Continental rubber and they're certainly grippy in the dry but I don't trust them in the wet at all and are completely worn away after approx. 150miles of road running!? So much for the 500mile mark hey?? Not sure I can justify the price for another pair every 150!?
These trainers look good and felt like they would be comfortable (I got a size too small so couldn't properly tell). I bought these and the ultra boost at the same time to compare and I found these to stay on my heel which I didn't find the UB to do. The main thing that i didn't like was the flimsy feeling of the mesh material that makes up a large part of the trainer. It feels like it could tear easily and once reared the whole structural integrity of the train would be compromised.
For some reason, red adidas T's in clima-anything instead of cotton are very hard to find, so I was happy to find this shirt online to go with my NMD's. It is comfortable, even for bigger guys, as it is not too narrowly cut. It is high quality, an easy recommendation for me.
This is now my 4th pair of Kanada trainers. Like the others, the sizing comes up small - in other brands I wear size 11, but buy 12.5 in these (for my original pair I went to a specialist running show to have my gait analysed and sized properly). The fantastic grip has always been one of the main reasons I keep returning to the range, although they overall quality does appear to be good and they don't mind the hammering I give them running on every surface imaginable! My only question for this latest version is; why make the laces so thin? It's ok now, at the end of the summer, but I do wonder how my frozen fingers are going to be able to unlace them after a wet, muddy trail run in the middle of winter!
Great fit and comfortable shoe. Wore them on a 3 week holiday in Japan, including on a climb up Mt Fuji. A little bit of freying on the stitching around the neoprene sock, but other then that no complaint.
Ultra boost has easily become my go to. Comfort is incredible, only wish they were easier to buy, colors sell out too quickly. This is my second pair and I can't wait for more! Fits like a sock, true to size, very lightweight!
Love the ultra boost comfort when you walking with it. But when you are driving, sometime you will start feeling the plastic strip on the side. It will start giving you some uncomfortable feeling and which turned into annoying love you driving long-distance. But it is a best pair of walking and running shoes that you can every own.
I like the looks of these sneakers (Ultra Boost ST). But that's it. I to a couple people here and a friend that for Adidas. They all thought that these would work for me. I work all nite on a concrete floor and my feet hurt bad. And my knees to. I'm a big person. So I bought these for only work. tried them last nite. I made it for about 3 1/2 hours and to go back to my old sneakers. The Ultra Boost ST's end up not really helping. No arch support. I am very disappointed. For what they cost and the way I was told I expected more from them.
First of all, I am very disappointed that Adidas discontinued the Predator and Nitrocharge series'--these were my go-to shorts for years. Moving on.... I am 5'9" 215 pounds and very picky about my training/running shorts. With that said, the Cool 365 shorts are great. High quality material and perfect fit. Size large gives me plenty of room around the waist and the length is perfect (hangs a few inches above my knees). The zipper pockets are a nice feature. I will likely get another pair.
If I could give the shoes a 4.5/5 rating I would. The shoes are comfortable and feel nice when doing sport or running, and at £50 are well priced. The only problem is, well, its more a personal problem. I have skinny feet as well as skinny ankles and legs. These shoes are fairly slim inside but when wearing them they feel and look a little too wide. Overall 4.5/5.
I wore expensive inserts, but Ultraboosts are so well made and comfortable that I no longer need inserts. The price is right for what is offered. Get yourself a pair, get your loved one a pair, and experience this technology that will absolutely benefit your life! Be prepared for positive comments in a Cafe, Restaurant, Target, etc. Needless to say, I am soooo happy with my pair, and as crazy as it sounds, it has complimented my life by getting me out more! Trust me, you would sleep with them on if you could!!!!
Overall, this shoe is outstanding. The design and aesthetics side is second to none in the sneaker market right now, although I prefer the previous knit pattern without the gradient, however on my mostly navy-coloured pair the gradient looks good. They fit well, and as with all adidas shoes, you may need to go up half a size compared to other brands. The shoe feels slightly wide at the forefoot, although this may be due to the rest of the shoe being a bit narrow, as the fit is intended to be sock-like, although, whilst not the easiest, getting the shoes on is not that hard so long as you use the tongue and the heel to pull yourself in. They are very comfortable thanks to the unparalleled Boost technology that makes up the sole cushioning, although I have not used the shoe yet for exercise purposes, as I intend for it to be a casual shoe and a shoe for using at the gym, where it will be tested for that sort of performance. My only issue with their comfort is that after a while the soles of your feet start to feel the Boost's pattern, which is slightly strange, however I imagine that the more I wear them, the less this will be noticed. The quality of the shoes are unquestionable, as the Primeknit material used for the upper is aesthetically pleasing, strong, and comfortable, the Boost sole, again, is brilliant, and the Continental rubber outsole web lying over the boost is grippy, and hopefully should last a long time without significant wear. The torsion system in the midsole seems to provide the support and stability it is intended to, and the heel counter, while not overly large or restrictive, is solid and sufficient. The lacing setup is adaptable to how the shoe fits you without them, and as the upper of the shoe provides a sock like fit already, it isn't always necessary to lace the shoes up, however when you do they improve the fit and sense of being locked into the shoes even more. The laces are strong and fairly thick, and the plastic three stripe supports that provide the eyelets for the laces to run through are equally strong whilst bringing together the aesthetic of shoe overall perfectly. Overall, this shoe will take some beating aesthetically, and from what I've read, it will do for performance also. Completely exceptional.
